Steven Raber, an Intellectual Property lawyer recognized by Lexpert and Best Lawyers, recently published an article titled, “House Plans and Copyright: Sometimes it doesn’t pay to shop around” in the Q2 edition of Piling Canada magazine.
Steven describes a case in which a couple took a contractor’s house blueprint to a competitor. The court ruled that it was a copyright infringement.
